Getting around Metz Eurometropole made easy

By public transport

The interconnections and intermodality between the different modes of transport make this a true metropolitan network, whatever the users and the sectors concerned.

The network is complemented by a bicycle offer, car-sharing and dynamic real-time information.

Moving around with METTIS means benefiting from a functional and spacious articulated vehicle.

METTIS runs on its own right-of-way: the backbone of the LE MET' network.

Neither a bus nor a tramway, it's a BHNS (Bus à Haut Niveau de Service) that will enable you to get around easily and connect all the must-see places in Metz during your stay.

By car

To get around Metz Eurometropole easily and responsibly, there are 4 P+R park-and-ride facilities where you can leave your vehicle and take the Mettis exclusive right-of-way public transport system.
A car-sharing solution is also available with Citiz, self-service car-sharing. There are 19 stations in and around Metz, where you can pick up your vehicle via the Citiz app.

The Eurometropole has been awarded the "Cycling Territory" label, and offers numerous urban and extra-urban cycle paths.

Use VÉLOMET', LE MET''s bicycle rental service, to get around our region! A wide choice of bikes to meet all your needs: city bikes, folding bikes and electric bikes.

By the end of 2025, the Metz Eurometropole will have a self-service bicycle hire scheme. Nearly 50 stations should be installed in Metz and its inner suburbs.
