Hosting, April 06, 2025

Last weekend, Metz was the center of attention! Journalists, influencers, observers, gastronomy enthusiasts... all witnessed an event that showcased local terroir and know-how at the Village gourmand and the Fête des vins* de Moselle. In all, some 30,000 visitors made their way to Place de la République to sample the delicious recipes prepared by local restaurateurs, accompanied by producers and winemakers from the Metz and Moselle Eurometropole.

Charles Coulombeau: the Grail at home!

It took just 8 short months for his restaurant Yozora, located in the Centre Pompidou-Metz, to win the ultimate accolade in gastronomy. At the end of the Michelin Guide France 2025 ceremony held at the Metz Congrès Robert Schuman Center, Charles Coulombeau expressed his delight to the City of Metz: "To be crowned at home is unique in the life of a chef... for 1 year, we worked hard, we worked consistently, with respect and with this desire to always do well. It's a marathon, it's not just being good one day, it's every day, from 7pm to midnight, at every service, it's offering the same quality of service to every customer. We've succeeded in creating a working ecosystem where we can control the quality of what we do. Yozora is the only Michelin-starred restaurant located in a museum in France.

Maison Heler: when it comes to stars...

Designed by Philippe Starck, this 4**** hotel in the heart of Metz's Quartier de l'Amphithéâtre opened its doors to the public just hours before the kick-off of the Village gourmand and the Fête des vins de Moselle. Comprising 104 rooms, two restaurants and two bars, Maison Heler, conceived as a habitable, surrealist and literary work of art, offers a phantasmagorical experience. Perched on the roof overlooking the city of Metz, the Maison de Manfred Heler is a place to relax, where the eye is drawn to objects as inventive as they are unexpected.
